The TikTok AI-generated label
The TikTok AI-generated label tells viewers a post was "completely generated or significantly edited by AI". You add it yourself before posting: tap Add post, upload your video, tap Next, tap More options and turn on "AI-generated content"; the post then shows "creator labeled as AI-generated". TikTok can also add an "AI-generated" label automatically, for example when the file carries C2PA Content Credentials, and that auto label cannot be removed. Every rule below is from TikTok's help page, read on 27 October 2026.

Why we ask
Putting someone’s face in a video without their OK can break privacy and image-rights laws, and that responsibility is yours. So you confirm three things: you are the person or have their OK, they are an adult, and they are not a celebrity or a politician. We keep the time you confirmed with the request.

When you need the TikTok AI-generated label
TikTok "encourages" labels on anything completely generated or significantly edited by AI, and "requires" them on AI content with realistic images, audio or video. It counts as significantly edited when real photos or video are the source and AI goes beyond minor fixes, including when:
- the people are shown "doing something they didn't do, for example, dancing";
- they are shown saying something they did not say, such as AI speech;
- their appearance is changed so much they are no longer recognizable, such as an AI face swap.
How to add the TikTok AI-generated label
For a photo post: tap Add post, take the photo, tap Post settings and turn on the same setting. TikTok says turning it on "won't affect the distribution of your video" as long as the post follows the Community Guidelines. You can also say it in the caption or with a sticker, but the setting is the official label.
- 1
Tap the Add post (+) button at the bottom.
- 2
Record, or upload a video from your device, then tap Next.
- 3
Tap More options (…).
- 4
Turn on the AI-generated content setting, then post.
The automatic TikTok AI-generated label
TikTok may label a post "AI-generated" by itself when it was made with TikTok AI effects or when the uploaded file carries Content Credentials, a C2PA standard that writes how a file was made into its metadata. Once an auto label is on, you cannot remove it. Videos made only with TikTok’s own AI effects are labeled for you; if you also edited with another AI tool, TikTok still asks you to label.
AI content TikTok does not allow, label or not
That is why this site’s terms do not allow photos of children or of public figures, and why AI trend videos should be made from your own photo or one you have permission for.
- Fake authoritative sources or crisis events.
- Public figures shown falsely in some contexts, such as being bullied, making an endorsement or being endorsed.
- The likeness of anyone under 18.
- The likeness of an adult private person used without their permission.
Labeling an AI trend video from this site
Videos made on Bulin47Video.io, such as the Bad Times AI video, show you doing a dance you did not do, so they fall under "significantly edited by AI". Turn the setting on when you post. Here is one of our own renders, made from a fictional person:

Questions people ask
Does the TikTok AI-generated label reduce views?
TikTok says turning the setting on "won't affect the distribution of your video" if it follows the Community Guidelines.
Where does the TikTok AI-generated label show?
On the post itself. A TikTok AI-generated label you added reads "creator labeled as AI-generated"; the automatic TikTok AI-generated label reads "AI-generated".
Can I remove the AI-generated label on TikTok?
A label you added yourself is a setting you chose before posting. An automatic "AI-generated" label cannot be removed, TikTok says.
What happens if I do not label AI content?
TikTok requires labels on realistic AI content and may remove content that breaks its Community Guidelines. It also forbids labeling real, unaltered content as AI.
Do CapCut template videos need the label?
If the template uses AI to put a person in a dance or swap a face, yes: that is "significantly edited by AI".
