He likes them. In an interview with Egypt's Youm7 TV published on 19 October 2026, Bulin 47 said the AI versions do not bother him: he is glad when people make the clip their own way, even when his picture is replaced by theirs, and he keeps watching the new versions (Youm7). That is his personal view, not a licence for any app: Kevin Wai's original clip still belongs to its owner and no AI tool is official. What he said, and where
The interview ran on Youm7 TV, the video channel of the Egyptian daily Youm7, as part of a series of interviews with Bulin 47 and Kevin Wai that began on 13 October. In the part published on 19 October he was asked about fans who copy the "shoulder dance" with AI, including clips where they put their own photo in his place. His answer, in short: it makes him happy, what matters to him is that people join in with the trend and the music, and he likes seeing people from other countries and cultures take part.
The same morning Youm7 published Kevin Wai's side (Youm7): there is no dispute between them over who gets the credit for the trend. Bulin 47 was a known artist before the video, he said, and the clip helped them both: "we are both the heroes of the story."

Famous faces: why so many remakes use them, and why we do not
Most of the versions in the press put footballers in the pink shirt: Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Haaland are named by Al-Masry Al-Youm, and Buena Pepa adds Mbappé and politicians. None of them took part; they are AI edits (how to tell an edit).
Bulin 47 talked about fans putting their own picture in. A famous person's face is a different matter: it is their likeness, and they did not agree. So this site only takes your own photo or that of an adult who said yes, with no children and no famous or political faces.
