Why we ask

Putting someone’s face in a video without their OK can break privacy and image-rights laws, and that responsibility is yours. So you confirm three things: you are the person or have their OK, they are an adult, and they are not a celebrity or a politician. We keep the time you confirmed with the request.

This clip has no free preview: 2 credits make the full 5 s. A failed render gives them back.

The move, step by step

One continuous camera move, described to the model in this order.

  1. Open

A close-up of you facing the camera.

  2. Rise

The camera pulls back and up over the street and the rooftops.

  3. Clouds

It keeps going through the clouds.

  4. Space

The whole Earth hangs in the frame, city lights glowing on the night side.

How it works

  1. 01

    Add a photo

A clear, front-facing face works best. The background of your photo is replaced, so any spot is fine.

  2. 02

    A content check runs

The photo is checked before any credits move. Children and public figures are not allowed.

  3. 03

    The zoom is written

A video model (Seedance 2.0 Mini) keeps your face, hair and outfit in the opening shot and writes the climb out to space.

  4. 04

    Download it

One MP4 with sound. It works as an intro, an outro or a "where in the world am I" post.

Which photo to use

Works well

  • Face to the camera, eyes visible
  • Head and shoulders or waist up
  • Sharp, well-lit photos
  • A pet looking at the lens

Skip these

  • Children
  • Famous faces
  • Tiny faces in a wide shot
  • Sunglasses, unless you want them in the video

Many TikTok versions dive from space down to the subject. Ours runs the other way, from your face out to the planet.

Where the Earth zoom out comes from

Zooming from a person out to the whole planet is an old editing idea: people made it by hand long before AI, as in the 2010 picture animation in the gallery below.

In 2025 it became a one-click AI effect. Higgsfield AI offered an "Earth Zoom Out" preset, and guides such as Kapwing's (23 July 2025) explained how to make one from a single image. In August 2025 TikTok's #earthzoomout tag filled up with versions, many of them with pets and run in reverse.

Here the effect is one move from your own photo, with no app to install.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What is the Earth zoom out effect?

A video that opens on a person and pulls the camera back in one move, over the city and through the clouds, until the whole Earth is in view. It went viral as an AI effect in 2025.

How do I make an Earth zoom out video from my photo?

Add one photo on this page, tick the permission box and press the button. The video is ready in a few minutes and downloads as an MP4.

Does it zoom in or out?

Out: it starts on your face and ends on the planet. Many TikTok versions go the other way, from space down to the person.

Do I need Higgsfield, CapCut or an app?

No. Everything runs in your phone or desktop browser on this page.

How much does it cost?

2 credits at 480p or 4 at HD 720p for the 5 seconds. The $9.99 Single pack covers 5 videos at 480p. See pricing.

Is there a free preview?

Not for this effect. The one free 2-second preview per Google account is offered on Bulin 47 and Hotel Lobby. A failed video gives its credits back.

Will it show my real street or city?

No. The background of your photo is ignored and the street, rooftops and planet are drawn by the model, so it is not a map of where you live.

What happens to my photo?

It is used for your video only and deleted after 7 days. The privacy policy has the details.
