It spread on TikTok in September 2026 (Complex, 27 September). Bulin47Video.io (bulin47video.io) makes it from two photos, 15 seconds, in the generator on this page.

The performance it copies
COLORS posted "Quavo & Takeoff - HOTEL LOBBY | A COLORS SHOW" on 17 June 2022 (YouTube); on 20 October 2026 it showed about 133 million views. The song came out on 20 May 2022; "Unc & Phew" in its title is the duo's nickname, since Quavo is Takeoff's uncle. The look is the COLORS format: one saturated wall, one mic, nothing else in the frame.
Despite the name, there is no hotel lobby in it. The title is the song's, and the "lobby" people picture is the orange studio.
What the AI versions change
They keep almost everything and change who is standing there:
- The orange wall, the single silver mic and the fixed camera stay.
- The person on the left raps the lead vocal; the one on the right hypes, nods and adds ad-libs.
- The faces, hair and clothes come from two photos, or from one photo of both people.
- The original song stays under the picture, which is why the moves still land on the beat.
Why it spread
Complex traces the start to early September 2026, when clips of two cats in the booth went viral, followed by celebrities, characters and animals. Quavo reposted the untouched COLORS video on 23 September and called it the original. Our reading: the scene is instantly recognisable, it is made for two, and anyone with a friend or a pet has a cast.
Why some people are uneasy about it
Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston on 1 November 2022, so every version is also a remix of a late artist's performance; Complex notes the criticism around that. Two simple rules help: use only photos of people who said yes, and leave out real public figures.
